Born and raised in Roosevelt, NY, Kenneth Ware has carved an illustrious path in the culinary world, blending artistry and advocacy. As the Chef and Owner of a thriving 60-seat barbecue restaurant, Ware expertly combines classical French training with a passion for farm-to-table and locally sourced ingredients. His journey began at Johnson & Wales University, where he earned an Associate’s in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor’s in Foodservice Management, setting the foundation for his decade-long career.

Ware’s innovative flair is rooted in experiences within Michelin-starred and award-winning kitchens, where he refined his technique and cultivated his commitment to culinary excellence. Today, his restaurant is a testament to his creativity and dedication, delighting diners with bold flavors and impeccable execution.

Beyond his culinary achievements, Ware is a devoted community leader and advocate for the Black culinary community. As President of the Black Restaurant Coalition, he champions diversity, equity, and opportunity within the industry. His commitment extends to organizing impactful events such as the Sleighs of Joy Toy Drive and Joy Fest, a dynamic Juneteenth celebration that uplifts and unites his community.

An esteemed member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Ware exemplifies the values of brotherhood, service, and leadership, both within his fraternity and the broader culinary world. His unwavering dedication to his craft and his community continues to inspire, leaving a legacy that resonates far beyond the plate.
