Rosanne Golding

Rosanne Golding brings over thirteen years of experience as a high school educator, with a deep commitment to serving and uplifting her community. A product of public schools in Long Island, New York, and a brief period of primary schooling in Jamaica, West Indies, Rosanne has always valued the power of education in fostering connection and growth. She earned her undergraduate degree in History with a minor in Secondary Education from Queens College, followed by a graduate degree in Adolescent Special Education (7-12) and certification in School Leadership from the College of St. Rose CITE program.

As a published curriculum writer for the NYC Department of Education and a Hollyhock Fellow of Stanford University, Rosanne has a wealth of experience in creating educational practices that prioritize social-emotional learning and culturally relevant pedagogy. Her work focuses on elevating marginalized voices, ensuring that all students see their identities and histories reflected in the curriculum.

In her role as Board Chair, Rosanne draws upon her extensive background as a teacher leader, where she led peer training and facilitated critical conversations around inclusive and holistic teaching practices. She continues to center the lived experiences, thoughts, and interests of students both inside and outside the classroom, striving to build a more equitable and supportive environment for all. Rosanne’s dedication to fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment within the community remains at the heart of her leadership and advocacy.
